Echlinville whiskey distillery
Echlinville Distillery sits near Kircubbin on the Ards Peninsula in County Down, about 20 miles south east of Belfast. Founded by Shane Braniff and his family, it ran its first spirit in 2013, becoming the first newly licensed distillery in Northern Ireland in more than 125 years.
It is a field to glass operation, distilling from barley grown and floor malted on the distillery farm, and is home to the revived Dunville’s Irish whiskey brand alongside its gins.
