1994: In 1994, Glenora and its maturing whisky was acquired by Lauchie MacLean and partners
2007: SWA challenge the use of Glen Breton, rejected by Canadian Intellectual Property Office
2008: April 3rd the Federal Court of Canada ruled in favour of the SWA
2009: Glenora awarded use of the name Glen Breton by Federal Court of Appeal
