- 1985After a change in proprietors, the plant is renamed Highwood Distillers.
- 2005Highwood buys Potter Distilleries' 10,000-barrel inventory, adding important stocks of mature corn whisky.
- 2013Catastrophic flooding devastates the distillery and forces roughly a year of recovery work.
