- 1978Nantou opens as a TTL winery making wine, brandy, rum and fruit wines.
- 1999A massive earthquake and fire destroy five warehouses; the rebuild takes up the idea of a whisky distillery.
- 2008First malt new-make spirit runs — the second whisky distillery in Taiwan after Kavalan.
- 2010German mash tun and washbacks installed so Nantou produces its own wash (previously bought mash/wort/wash from a nearby brewery).
- 2013TTL launches its Omar single-malt series (one account dates the first Omar release to 2015).
