- 1958Ernest Potter and Karl Wimmer establish Potter Distillery in Vancouver.
- 1967Potter opens its fully automated Langley distillery after several years of expansion planning.
- 1975The company opens a Portland bottling plant to serve western US and Southeast Asian markets.
- 1986General Western buys a controlling interest; Potter later merges with Pacific Western to form International Potter Distilling.
- 1986Langley distilling is suspended after the merger, leaving profits to come mainly from brewing and other lines.
- 1989Potter sells the Langley distillery and moves remaining staff and distilled-spirit operations to Kelowna.
- 2006Highwood removes the last 10,000 barrels of ageing whisky from the former Potter/Calona stocks, closing the final chapter of the site's whisky legacy.
