The Shed whiskey distillery
The Shed Distillery is in the village of Drumshanbo, County Leitrim, founded by PJ and Denise Rigney. It laid down its first whiskey on 21 December 2014, bringing distilling back to Connacht after more than 101 years.
The site runs copper pot and column stills, and is best known for Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin alongside its single pot still Irish whiskey and vodka.
