Belfast whiskey distillery
The Belfast distillery operates in the renovated A wing of the former Crumlin Road Gaol, a Victorian prison in north Belfast. Run by the Belfast Distillery Company, it revives the McConnell’s brand, a Belfast whiskey name dating to 1776, and opened to the public in April 2024.
The site is designed to produce around 500,000 litres of pure alcohol per year.
